Farmer Wants a Wife
Apparently The Bachelor and The Bachelorette aren’t enough to appease reality romance fans. For those of you who like the country side of lovin’, you’re in luck: Farmer Wants a Wife is on air!
I watched the premiere of this show and I was…less than impressed. Being a country girl myself, I was thoroughly disgusted with the ridiculousness of the 10 city chicks on the show. Basically, Farmer Wants a Wife brings 10 women from the city out to vie for the heart of a farmer named Matt. He’s really not at all bad looking actually, but I just can’t understand why he wants a wife from the city. I’m not saying it can’t work, but the logisitcs are pretty iffy. I mean seriously…who picks a wife based on how fast she can coop up chickens in itty-bitty cut-offs and a plunging tanktop?
I have watched the show a time or two since simply because while I find the girls way out of their league, it is really quite amusing. Ah, if only I was there - I would totally kick all their butts.
